Airport Check

Reads the FAA's own operations feed every quarter hour and messages you when your airport has a ground stop, a delay programme, a closure or an average delay worth leaving early for — with the FAA's stated reason and how long it expects it to last. By default it only speaks between 5 and 10 in the morning at the airport's own clock, which is when the answer changes what you do.

Set it up

The three-letter code. The FAA publishes delay programmes for forty core airports and closures for many more; the first message says which side yours falls on.
Mornings is the point of this one: an afternoon ground stop you can do nothing about is noise, and the same news at six the next morning is a different departure time.

Spending limits

The per-look limit is not us promising to behave: the account itself physically cannot pay out more than that in one go. The daily limit is ours to enforce.

See what it would find

This is the real thing, not a demonstration: Airport Check reads the same sources it would read once hired. Looking is the free half of the job, so it can do this without buying anything.
