Aurora Watch

Reads NOAA's space weather forecast every quarter hour and works out whether the aurora will reach as far south as you, on a night when the sky where you are is actually dark. It tells you which hours and how strong the storm is. Most places this is rare, and the first message says exactly how rare before you decide.

This is the real thing, not a demonstration: Aurora Watch reads the same sources it would read once hired. Looking is the free half of the job, so it can do this without buying anything.
