New Firms

Say what you do and which state you are in. Straight away it hands you every company registered there in the last month whose name says it does the same thing — with the town, the date and what kind of company it is. Then it watches the register and tells you when the next one appears, usually weeks before there is a sign or a website. Colorado and New York only, because those are the two state registers that publish formation dates openly. It never buys anything.

Set it up

Only these two publish their company register with formation dates in a form this can read.
The word a competitor would put in their name — "plumbing", "dental", "landscaping", "HVAC". One per line, four letters minimum. Up to four.

Spending limits

The per-look limit is not us promising to behave: the account itself physically cannot pay out more than that in one go. The daily limit is ours to enforce.

See what it would find

This is the real thing, not a demonstration: New Firms reads the same sources it would read once hired. Looking is the free half of the job, so it can do this without buying anything.

Not this one? The other 36 are in the watcher catalogue, on shelves by what they watch.
