Paper Trail

Watches two research indexes — Crossref and Europe PMC — for new work containing the phrases you are following, folds the duplicates together on the DOI so one paper is one message, and sends at most one message a day. On day one it gives you the last thirty days across both indexes, deduped, with preprints marked. Anything found after the day's message has gone leads the next one, so nothing is dropped to stay quiet.

Set it up

One per line, as you would search for them. A phrase has to appear in the title or abstract, so "base editing" is a sharper watch than "editing".

Spending limits

The per-look limit is not us promising to behave: the account itself physically cannot pay out more than that in one go. The daily limit is ours to enforce.

See what it would find

This is the real thing, not a demonstration: Paper Trail reads the same sources it would read once hired. Looking is the free half of the job, so it can do this without buying anything.

Not this one? The other 36 are in the watcher catalogue, on shelves by what they watch.
