Patch Watch

Pick your Ubuntu release and list what you actually run. It reads Canonical's security notices and tells you the first time one lands for a package on your list, with the notice number, the CVEs, the exact version the fix is in, and Canonical's own line on whether it needs a reboot. Ubuntu only — Debian publishes nothing a machine can read reliably. It never buys anything and never rewrites what Canonical said.

Set it up

The release your servers are on. A fix ships separately for each one, with a different version number, so this has to be right.
Package names, one per line, up to eight. "linux" catches every kernel flavour including the cloud ones; "openssl" catches only openssl.

Spending limits

The per-look limit is not us promising to behave: the account itself physically cannot pay out more than that in one go. The daily limit is ours to enforce.

See what it would find

This is the real thing, not a demonstration: Patch Watch reads the same sources it would read once hired. Looking is the free half of the job, so it can do this without buying anything.

Not this one? The other 36 are in the watcher catalogue, on shelves by what they watch.
