Rate Watch

Pick two currencies and a number. This reads the European Central Bank's daily reference rate and sends one message the first time the published rate crosses your number — which way it went, by how much, and the range it has covered since you hired it. On day one it tells you the rate now, how far your number is from it in both percent and plain arithmetic, and the highest and lowest the rate has been over ninety days, so you can tell straight away whether the number you picked is a near thing or a long shot. It never forecasts and never has a view.

Set it up

The currency the rate is quoted in terms of.
How much of this one unit of the first currency buys.
The rate you want to hear about. Whichever side of it the published rate is on today, crossing to the other side is the message.

Spending limits

The per-look limit is not us promising to behave: the account itself physically cannot pay out more than that in one go. The daily limit is ours to enforce.

See what it would find

This is the real thing, not a demonstration: Rate Watch reads the same sources it would read once hired. Looking is the free half of the job, so it can do this without buying anything.

Not this one? The other 36 are in the watcher catalogue, on shelves by what they watch.
