Snow Check

Reads the amount of snow and ice the National Weather Service has forecast for your grid square, hour block by hour block, and sends one message when a run of them adds up to more than you said you cared about — how much, from what time, and whether the ground will be frozen before it starts. Ice gets a message at a tenth of an inch whatever depth you chose, because that is when roads stop working. It never buys anything, so it costs the same in July as in January.

Set it up

The US town or city nearest you, on its own — 'Asheville', not 'Asheville, NC'.
Freezing rain always gets a message at a tenth of an inch, whatever you pick here.

Spending limits

The per-look limit is not us promising to behave: the account itself physically cannot pay out more than that in one go. The daily limit is ours to enforce.

See what it would find

This is the real thing, not a demonstration: Snow Check reads the same sources it would read once hired. Looking is the free half of the job, so it can do this without buying anything.
